High Five with Raul Ruiz

Raul Ruiz comes through with a solid minute of trickery right down the street from our office at the Lincoln Skatepark.

Last Friday we found ourselves ending the day early and heading up to the mountains to watch Ziggy Marley play an acoustic concert. It was pretty rad to be in the middle of downtown LA and then within 30 minutes being in the middle of woods listening to some reggae, eating free bbq, and drinking ice cold beer, not a bad way to start the weekend.
My good friend Wes McGrath just dropped a pretty awesome set of photos up on BMX Union. These were some of my favorites from the gallery, but defiantly view the rest here.

@b_wiley and I were just discussing the use of GoPro when I found this little gem. Enjoy.

It’s always a treat to see fresh Sammy Baptista footage and here he defiantly comes through with some solid skating. Enjoy.
I was showing my friend some photographers to check out and remembered this guy Boogie. I hadn’t looked at his work in awhile and it was defiantly refreshing to see the way he captures the rawness of any situation. Enjoy.
I wanted to share a couple photos from a post I found the other day on Lee Friendlander. He used a 35mm camera to capture every day happenings and after looking at these it got me thinking about what kinds of things he would’ve instagrammed if the the technology was around in the 70′s.
