I was perusing the Apple movie trailer library last night and came across an interesting trailer for an Ed Koch documentary, slated for a Feb 1, 2013 release. Ed Koch was the former mayor of NYC during the early graffiti era, when NYC was in a state of shambles, looking to rebuild. Ed fought through the AIDS epidemic, corruption scandals and even the taunts from competitors who would frequently labeled him as gay, to leave his mark on NYC. The documentary looks amazing and I’ll be sure to watch it.
Dissenting opinions are always appreciated, and the reason this documentary caught my eye was for the general disdain everyone in Style Wars had for him.
Love him or hate him, he was able to transform NYC as he saw fit, and for that you should watch this documentary too!
