I was recently scrolling random pages on the internet when I came across these clever social media advertisements. I am a sucker for good advertising, thought I would share with these with you.
Its amazing how far we have come in such a short amount of time. 
With the Xgames 16 beginning in Los Angeles this thursday. Its amazing that this park is built on top of a parking structure in Downtown LA the entire park was built in two weeks.This set up is insane, with new features such as the visor a rainbow shaped plexi glass feature, the skating and riding that will take place in this park will truly be mind blowing. Be sure to check out Quintin Riders Aaron Ross and Chase Hawk doing there thing this weekend.
LAKERS, on the road to a 3-peat. It’s friday, so that means the Quintin team is chopping it up about the game last night, looking up funny videos and gearing up for the weekend. Is it just me, or is Ron Ron really high on life?

So we’ve been getting a lot of emails lately from our followers asking if we actually make our hats in the good ol’ USA. The answer is YES! Here’s a quick look into our hat making process:
Brett: “Alright guys, let’s make a hat”
Team: “Ok ok… hmmmm… what kind of hat should we make?”
Meanwhile, downstairs, in our factory… “hmmm… what fabric to pick…”
Team: “Alright Al, can you cut the fabric?”
Al: “Yuuuuup”
Team: “hmmm… should we screenprint?”
“orrrr…. should we do embroidery?”
Team: “Whadya think, Johnny? You’re the creative guy…”
John: “Hmmmm… I approve.”
Team: “Success!”

My friend Laura recently posted this on her blog over at RadCollector. I liked it so much and found it fitting to post it here.
Laura is having a little contest with this idea so if you feel like participating here are the rules – Whoever can successfully make one of these newspaper hats and send her a picture of you wearing it to: laura@laustindesign.com. She will make a post using your pictures, and send you a surprise in the mail.
Take one piece of newspaper… fold it into a triangle and fold in that extra flap to make a perfect triangle
Fold the corners up to make a square.
Fold the corners to the opposite tip to create two triangles.
Fold down the tips of your triangles to create “ears”
Fold the top flap of your lower triangle, midway up the triangle with the ears.
Fold up the excess to create a brim.
Fold the remaining lower flap inside the hat.
Bingo Bango!! You got your hat…and a stylish one at that.
