My good friend Wes McGrath just dropped a pretty awesome set of photos up on BMX Union. These were some of my favorites from the gallery, but defiantly view the rest here.

Here is a little commercial we made for Simple Session this year. Thought we would share it featuring Raul Ruiz, Brett Sube and Jackson Ratima.

It is impossible to write this without expressing my personal sentiment to whomever reads it. Jimmy Costello has been a key part of the growth of the RAW brand over the past seven years. In the early days of the brand, we met at his kitchen table every Saturday morning, and he was present for all of our meetings. His strong opinion is the reason why you have seen some of the ideas that we’ve made into products since 2006, ideas that may have otherwise landed in a garbage can. His constant support for what we’ve done, including putting RAW on the backs of every single one of his friends, is something that we will never forget. For those of you who do not know, this brand was founded by Steve Costello and I in February of 2006. Jimmy Costello is Steve’s younger brother. Today, we ask that RAW supporters do as much as they can for James “Bim” Costello.
On the 15th of April, Jimmy was attending the Boston Marathon to support a friend who was running that day. With a group of close friends, he was waiting on Boylston Street in Boston near the finish line. Shortly before 3 pm, two explosions occurred on Boylston Street that will forever be remembered as one of the scariest moments in American history. Bim was at the location of the second explosion, and suffered serious injuries that require a considerable amount of attention. As this is being written, Jimmy is at one of the best hospitals in Boston, the recipient of one successful round of medical procedures. However, he is still in a great deal of pain and more work will need to be performed before his release. The three links below are available for you to help. Thank you in advance for your support of Bim’s full, speedy recovery.

It’s always a treat to see fresh Sammy Baptista footage and here he defiantly comes through with some solid skating. Enjoy.
