Well… let’s start with getting his votes in for X-Games “Real Street”!
Haha… give your vote right here.
Quintin, In4mation, & Illest would like to welcome you to a Private Showing of our upcoming seasons for 2012. We will be showing at Manadalay Bay Room #29001. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment.
OUT WITH THE OLD! I’ve been talking with Tom over at Clothes for Souls. We’ve decided to give a lot of our older stuff we have laying around over to him, so he can turn it around and put some fresh hats on people who have no means to buy their own clothes. WE’RE DOWN, TOM! Put these hats to good use please!

We’ve been hustlin’ hard lately, setting our 2012 schedule into stone, working on 2013 designs, getting our sales game tight, working our next round of collabs and punking one of our designers, Dennis.
Here’s a look into a small headwear brand with big aspirations…
Right now QNTN are out in Berlin at the Bread & Butter tradeshow – our first European show! Quintin family from Italy, Germany, UK and Polnad have been out representing the brand, and I’m happy to report that it’s been going great. Alessandro, our Italian distro, shot some photos of the booth, and some sneak peeks of our upcoming Fall/Winter collection and our forthcoming Summer Quickstrike, so check them out below.

Denim for fall 2012 – they come Manny Santiago approved!
I got interviewed about the brand and the section our stand is on for Bread & Butter’s website
With all the product shot photos taken that we needed of this hat, we thought it’d be a waste to just keep it sitting on our table, while so many of you guys out there have been asking about this hat. We didn’t think a normal giveaway would cut it for this one, especially since we’re trying to raise as much as we can for his fund.
Sam came up with a great way to help give an initial amount while making one of you lucky guys out there real happy. So here’s how we’re going to do this today, we’ve set up a post on our Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/QuintinCo) and Instagram (@quintinco), where you can bid on the MikeTag hat, as well as everything else in the picture below:
Here’s some info on what one lucky bidder will be getting:
1 – Mike Tag hat (that no one else will have possession of for at least a month)
2 – USS Quintin Co hat
3 – Quintin Tee
4 – Quintin Moneyclip
5 – Pendleton x Quintin wallet (not for sale, and only given to team riders and brand extended family)
6 – Bag of Intelligentsia x Quintin coffee (not for sale, and only given to team riders and brand extended family)
7 – Quintin stickers that we have not given out to anyone yet.
We will continue to run this auction until Thursday (January 19th) 5PM – PST. The bidding will start at $48 and we ask that you bid upwards in a minimal increment of $2. The winner of the auction will be kindly asked to make the donation directly into the Mike Tag Fund, and in return, we will send you this amazing box of goodies, where more than half of the contents of which are not even available to the public. We will give continual updates on both our Facebook and Instagram account on who’s leading the bidding for this hat. Here’s to a successful auction!
We were lucky enough to get an in-depth warehouse tour, as well as a cupping session in with Geoff Watts. He’s the world’s best coffee taster… literally. Here’s a bonus fact on Geoff… he’s travelled down “Death Road” to bring you the best beans that Bolivia has to offer. I’d call that dedication.
I can’t really properly convey how impressed we were with their operation. Everything, from their ridiculous quality control process (cuppings at store locations and their roasting works), to their roasting process and their worldwide vendor relationships. Anyways, here are some pics I took on my iPhone, using my olloclip!
What’s the machine over there for, you ask? This is where Intelligentsia roasts all the beans (for west coast consumption) they scour the earth for. I’ve been told it’s the Cadillac of coffee makers. Forged from German metal workers in the 1940′s, this machine requires a person to gauge how much air and heat to let into the machine, where most roasting machines these days are heavily automated and digitized.
Off to the cupping we went… you know Kevin Porter loves to geek out on coffee.
We were handed a ratings sheet to try out about 8 different types of beans. The ratings sheet consisted of how the beans smell after they are ground up (the fragrance), how they smell after pouring hot water into the cup (the aroma), and most importantly, the taste. I think I put down chocolate for like half of my answers. YEAH, I LIKE CHOCOLATE, SO WHAT?!?!
Our coffee bean selection process is now done! You’ll have to wait to see what we picked! Two companies who heavily invest in making actual product in the good ol’ USA and Kevin Porter… how’s this all mash together and what does it all mean? You can wait on an official press release from us, or get in on the Antenna mag collaborative efforts project when it comes to LA to find out!
We have updated our webstore with all of our Winter 2 release hats, we will be releasing all the new t’s and sweatshirts by wednesday. Visit the shop and have a look at the line before its all gone. If you are one of our worldwide fans, this line is also dropping abroad this week as well. Hope you enjoy. Can’t wait to show you whats coming for Spring/Summer….
