Many of you might not know this yet however QNTN helps support a number of people all across the board. One of these individuals is Quinn McCrystal. Quinn is a young surfer hailing from the shores of Huntington Beach. We have been helping Quinn out for a bit now. A few months ago we met with him and he let us know about this video contest he was filming for.

Innersection is a pretty cool concept. Surfers and filmers put their sections on the Innersection.TV. Members view, rate and comment on sections (first week of the month) — The most active members will be made Judges and submit their personal Top 10 lists, which narrows the field down to Top 10 finalists. The next week Members rank the Top 10 in order of preference: 1 thru 10 (second week of month). After that, they announce the winners and then do it all over again.

The five winning surf sections will then become part of the Innersection surf movie (top four finishers and one wild card). They will have the additional time to improve their section before it goes on the final DVD.The final Innersection DVD will include the year’s top 20 sections — five qualifiers from four seasonal Rounds of competition. From these 20, the viewer will decide which section deserves the grand prize of $100,000.
